City Sports - Since 1983

City Sports began as a local shop in 1983 on Massachusetts Avenue in Boston’s Fenway neighborhood. Everyday athletes began to seek out the store for the assortment of running and essential training products. Over time, thousands of athletes from around the country made our iconic City Sports t-shirt their work out shirt of choice.

The legend grew with more stores up and down the East Coast.  Eventually athletes in New York, Philadelphia and Washington, DC also found City Sports to be their favorite destination for athletic gear.  In 2015, City Sports turned its focus to a relaunch of CitySports.com. The same running and essential training products directly to your door. And yes, we still sell the City Sports t-shirts you know and love.
